Plain-English summary. Atlaso Pro costs US$10.00 per month, billed monthly and renewing automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime, by yourself, from the billing settings — no emails or phone calls required — and you keep Pro features until the end of the period you have already paid for. We generally do not refund fees and we do not prorate partial months, but we honor every refund right the law gives you (for example, the EU/UK 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers), and we will consider goodwill refunds in the limited cases described below. Cancelling never deletes your Memories.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy is part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.

1. Who and what this policy covers

This policy is provided by Atlaso Labs Inc., a Delaware C-Corporation ("Atlaso", "we", "us", or "our"), and applies to your purchase and use of the paid Pro subscription to Atlaso (the "Service").

It covers:

  • billing and automatic renewal of Atlaso Pro;
  • how to cancel your subscription;
  • what happens to your Account, Devices, and Memories after you cancel or downgrade;
  • when fees are and are not refundable, including your mandatory statutory rights;
  • chargebacks and payment disputes;
  • changes to price or plans; and
  • taxes.

The Free tier is provided at no cost and involves no payment, so most of this policy (billing, refunds, chargebacks) does not apply to it. The data-handling effects of returning to Free are described in Section 6.

2. The plan and the price

We do not store or process your card details. All payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. Card numbers, billing addresses, and subscription state are held by Stripe; no card data touches Atlaso's systems. See our Privacy Policy and Sub-processors List for details.

3. Billing and automatic renewal

When you subscribe to Atlaso Pro:

  • You are charged US$10.00 (plus any applicable taxes — see Section 9) at the time you subscribe, and then automatically on the same date each month until you cancel.
  • Your subscription renews automatically for successive one-month terms. This auto-renewal is disclosed clearly and conspicuously before you pay.
  • Our payment processor, Stripe, provides transactional payment receipts for your charges. We send account and service notices in-product and/or by email where available.
  • If a payment fails, we (through Stripe) may retry the charge and may suspend or downgrade Pro features if payment cannot be collected.

By subscribing, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method the recurring fee, plus applicable taxes, on each renewal date until you cancel.

4. How to cancel

You can cancel Atlaso Pro at any time, by yourself, with no need to contact us:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing in the Atlaso dashboard at app.atlaso.ai.
  2. Open the Stripe Customer Portal.
  3. Select Cancel subscription and confirm.

Cancellation is self-serve and is as easy as signing up — there are no retention hoops, no mandatory phone calls, and no email-only process. If you cannot reach the Customer Portal for any reason, email support@atlaso.ai and we will action your cancellation.

EU electronic cancellation. For consumers in the EU, an electronic "cancel contract / withdraw" function is available in line with applicable consumer law.

What cancelling does

  • Cancelling stops all future renewals. You will not be charged again.
  • You keep Pro features until the end of your current paid billing period. We do not cut off access early.
  • At the end of that period, your Account returns to the Free tier (see Section 6).
  • We do not provide a refund for the remaining, unused part of the current month, except where required by the statutory rights described in Section 7.

5. Refund stance

All fees are non-refundable and we do not prorate partial months. You can cancel anytime and keep Pro until the end of your current billing period.

This is the standard approach for low-cost, self-serve subscription software. Because you can cancel at any time and continue to use what you have paid for until the end of the period, we do not issue refunds for the unused portion of a billing cycle.

This stance does not, and cannot, override your statutory rights. Where the law gives you a non-waivable right to a refund — as described in Section 7 — that right always applies and takes precedence over this section.

We may also choose to grant a goodwill refund in limited cases (see Section 8).

6. What happens to your data after cancellation or downgrade

Cancelling Pro, or otherwise downgrading from Pro to Free, never deletes your Memories.

When your Account returns to Free:

  • Your Memories are retained. Nothing you have stored is deleted as a result of cancelling or downgrading.
  • A short grace period (approximately 5 days) is applied when moving from paid to Free. During this window your data remains accessible while the Account transitions.
  • Pro-only features turn off. The expensive AI features — Ambient Memory, L2 enrichment, and "Ask your memory" — stop working immediately on downgrade.
  • The Free plan limits apply again: 1 Device and 1 active tool. If you have more than one Device, the most recent Device is kept and the others are disconnected (their tokens revoked). Devices and tools beyond the Free limit are deactivated, not deleted, and can be reactivated if you resubscribe or reconnect within the Free limits.

In short: on cancellation or downgrade your Account returns to Free (1 Device, 1 active tool); your Memories are retained; Devices and tools beyond the Free limit are deactivated, not deleted, and can be reactivated.

For how to permanently delete your Memories or your Account, and for our data retention practices, see our Privacy Policy.

7. Your statutory refund rights (these override Section 5)

Nothing in this policy limits statutory rights that cannot be waived. In particular:

7.1 EU and UK consumers — 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal (also called a "cooling-off" right) when you buy a digital service online. This means you may cancel the contract within 14 days of subscribing.

Because Atlaso Pro is a digital service that begins immediately:

  • At checkout we ask you to (a) give express consent to begin the service right away, and (b) acknowledge that, once the service has begun, your right of withdrawal is affected.
  • If you exercise your 14-day right of withdrawal, we will give you a full refund of the amount you paid for the current subscription period. We will not reduce your refund for the part of the service you have already used.
"Nothing in this policy limits statutory rights that cannot be waived, including the 14-day right of withdrawal/cancellation for consumers in the EU and UK. Where you exercise that right, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid for the current subscription period."

7.2 Other jurisdictions

If you are a consumer in another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer-protection laws that grant refund, cancellation, or cooling-off rights, those rights apply to you and are not waived by this policy.

7.3 How to exercise a statutory right

To exercise a withdrawal or statutory refund right, use the cancel/withdraw function in the Stripe Customer Portal (Settings → Billing) or email support@atlaso.ai with your Account email and request. We will process eligible refunds to your original payment method via Stripe.

8. Goodwill refunds (exceptional)

Beyond the statutory rights described in Section 7, refunds are not guaranteed. However, we understand that mistakes happen (for example, an accidental renewal you meant to cancel, or a duplicate charge). In those situations we may — entirely at our discretion — grant a goodwill refund. Goodwill refunds are decided case by case, are not a contractual entitlement, and do not change the general no-refund stance in Section 5.

To ask us to consider a goodwill refund, email support@atlaso.ai from your Account email, telling us the charge date and the reason.

9. Taxes

Prices are stated in US dollars. Depending on your location, applicable taxes (such as VAT, GST, or sales tax) may be added to or included in the amount you pay; where any such tax is collected, it is shown at checkout through Stripe before you pay. You are responsible for any taxes not collected by us at checkout. Refunds, where due, are calculated and issued in accordance with applicable tax rules.

10. Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at support@atlaso.ai so we can resolve it quickly. Most billing questions can be fixed faster directly than through your bank.

Reaching out to us first is usually the fastest way to sort out a billing question. You remain free to raise a dispute with your bank or card issuer at any time. We reserve the right to contest chargebacks we genuinely believe are fraudulent and to provide our payment processor with records of your use of the Service for that purpose.

This does not affect your statutory rights or your right to raise a legitimate dispute.

11. Price and plan changes

We may change the price of Atlaso Pro or the features included in a plan. If we change the price of your subscription:

  • We will give you advance notice before the change takes effect, in-product and/or by email where available.
  • Any price change applies to future billing cycles, not to a cycle you have already paid for.
  • If you do not agree to a new price, you may cancel before the change takes effect (see Section 4); continuing to use Pro after the change takes effect means you accept the new price.

Changes to plan features are governed by our Terms of Service, including the provisions on modifying, suspending, or discontinuing the Service and on Beta features.

12. India-specific disclosures

For users in India, the key commercial terms are disclosed conspicuously before purchase: the price (US$10.00 per month), the automatic monthly renewal, the method to cancel (the Stripe Customer Portal), and the refund position set out in this policy. If you have a grievance regarding billing or this policy, our Grievance Officer can be reached at support@atlaso.ai.

13. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, UK, India, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer-protection laws, nothing in this policy deprives you of the protections of, or the right to bring proceedings in the courts of, your country of residence.

See our Terms of Service for the full provisions on governing law and dispute resolution.
